Changchun Cedar Electronics Technology Co., LTD. is a high-tech enterprise of which the shareholder is Changchun Institute of Optics Fine Mechanics and Physics under Chinese Academy of Sciences（CAS）. Cedar integrates research and development,production,marketing and graduate studies as one entity. As a council member of LED Display Branch of COEMA(China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association), the core of its team is state-level experts with overseas background and had been awarded prizes for China National Science and Technology Advancement many times, among whom there are four fellows of academy, three PhD supervisors, more than 10 faculty members with PhD or MS degree. CAS offers graduates courses of circuits and system and has set its station in Cedar Electronics, about thirty PhD and MS graduates are studying for the degree courses.
Cedar Electronics has obtained the authentication of Quality Management System ：GB/T19001—2000（idtISO9001:2000).
Cedar Electronics, having owned many patent technologies in LED imaging application in the past ten yeas or so, has been working in the frontier of LED large screen display. As a result, the new technology makes the video image fidelity live up to international standard in technology and 17 national invention patents have already been applied in production and the industrialization of the project is gradually formed.. As representative of the Chinese Great Innovational Achievements on Science and Technology of CAS , Cedar’s products were awarded two prizes in 2007, Gold Prize at Northeast Asian Modern High-Tech Exposition and Copper Prize at International Industry Exhibition held in China respectively, the latter assessed by both foreign and Chinese specialists including nine fellows of Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Cedar has been applying their independent intellectual property rights in launching and developing as many as 20 types of LED products of indoor and outdoor full-colored display in two systems, the products with super uniformity have been applied in forming and adjusting integrating control system and traffic directing system. They have been widely used in civil affair halls, airports and stations, traffic directing, financial market, gyms and stages, leisure facilities and some other areas.
